June has probably been the most eventful and exciting month since the launch of TEA last September. The site went through some major changes, our membership card program was launched, more than a hundred new members signed up and we had three fantastic events.
Most of you have probably encountered and even got used to the new menu and functions of the site by now. Some groups have generated quite a lot of comments – Jason’s Film Friends group seems to be the most active. The development of the groups and events features is not quite finished. Viktor Orbán was re-elected as president of FIDESZ during the Party’s Saturday session. A week earlier FIDESZ, or the Alliance of Young Democrats, could successfully win several seats in the European Parliament along with the Jobbik Party, defeating the opposition the Hungarian Socialist Party. Microsoft has made a very strange announcement recently. The company said it would support its almost-ten-year-old internet browser, Internet Explorer 6 until 2014. MS was attacked by many people right away saying they should simply just get rid of the old version of IE as it only “slows down the online experience”.
